Overview

If you are planning a trip to see the polar bears, why not sit back, relax and travel between Winnipeg and Churchill by “tundra train.” This is a unique opportunity to watch the transition from prairie to boreal forest to taiga to tundra.

The train is comfortable and offers a dining car and private sleeping accommodations.

Each cabin has a private sleeper complete with its own bathroom and large windows for watching the world pass by. (Two nights and one day are spent on the train.)

While in Churchill, you will be staying at our Tundra Buggy Lodge, located in the Churchill Wildlife Management area and home to the largest concentration of polar bears in Churchill.
